How It Works
- Selective adsorption - functionalised resins selectively bind impurities such as heavy metals based on chemical affinity.
- Targeted impurity removal - removes trace metals like Pd, Pt, Cu, Hg, Pb, and others from reaction mass and effluents.
- Column or batch operation - operates in fixed-bed (continuous) or slurry (batch) modes depending on process needs.
- Process optimization - resin selection is based on impurity type, followed by pilot trials and scale-up.
- Counter-current operation - adsorption columns are designed based on flow rates and ppm-level impurity concentrations.
