Process Operation
Poresep Membrine are effectively used to demineralise or desalt dyes and fine chemicals.  Membrane process is operated at nominal pressures and the separation is based on molecular size and ionic level. Due to the physical weight/size of impurities (insolubles) compared to the soluble caustic, the impurities simply get rejected on the membrane surface. The membrane pore is a safe barrier for any insoluble matter (i.e. protein complexes, triglycerides, fats, oils, bacteria, colloidal matter, fibres etc) irrespective of the incoming concentrations.
Proper clarification and pre-treatment has to be done before the separation can take place.
The system is available in Polymeric and Ceramic configurations – depending on the life cycle costs the customer can choose from the two options.
